Insacal Flowrig is designed for reliable day-to-day operation in production environments, with a strong focus on usablilty, mobility, documentation, and compliane.
The Flowrig is developed with a special focus on operating costs, user-friendliness, accuracy, and documentation. Furthermore, it is delivered fully tested and calibrated, complete with accreditation certificates and ready for use.
User Friendly Operation
Connections, instruments, and handles are placed ergonomically correct allowing operation from one side. The software is designed with usability in mind making your operator’s user experience simple and effective every time. During the calibration, all results are presented on the screen after each point of the calibration. Cleaning can be done to standard industrial standards, and all wet parts are designed for CIP (Clean In Place) and SIP (Steam In Place).
Mobility in the Production Environment
The Calibration Rig is designed with mobility in mind, and its wheels allow it to be moved wherever needed. The compact design ensures that the rig fits through standard industrial doors and lifts. It can also be lifted by crane using lifting lugs or straps at each corner.
Documentation & Validation - From Basic to Full Compliance
We work in accordance with approved standards, such as Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP), and the rig is designed to comply with both the Machinery Directive and the Low Voltage Directive.
The documentation package supplied with the rig is prepared according to user specifications and ranges from a basic operations manual to full validation, in line with common practice in the pharmaceutical industry.
When a Customized Configuration Is Required
We can design the unit to suit your local requirements, and we prefer to work based on a mutually agreed User Requirement Specification.
Cleaning and Hygienic Design
The Flow Calibration Rig is built with materials that are AISI 304 or optionally AISI 316L. Flow meters are made from EN 1.4404/AISI 316L or C22, depending on flow. All piping is made from EN 1.4404/AISI 316L with a surface roughness better than Ra 0.8. This means that cleaning can be performed according to industry practice and all wetted parts are CIP-able (Cleaning-in-place).
All wetted parts are pharmaceutical-grade:
- AISI 304 or AISI 316L (piping and flow meters)
- Surface roughness better than Ra 0.8
- Fully CIP-able and SIP-able
