Fast and Efficient Calibration
The Pressure Calibration Rig is easy to operate and ready for use directly in the production area.
Once the rig is positioned at the pressure instrument to be calibrated, it is connected to a power supply, pressure gas and the unit under test (UUT). After connection, the rig is ready to perform calibration.
The calibration process is automated and executed according to a predefined sequence, ensuring repeatable and consistent results. During calibration, the pressure controller monitors each setpoint and stabilises the pressure before measurements are taken.
On-site Calibration in the Production Area
The mobile design allows the Pressure Calibration Rig to be easily manoeuvred through the production area to the pressure gauges and transmitters requiring calibration.
The compact footprint enables the rig to pass through standard industrial doors and elevators, allowing calibration to be performed close to the installed instruments. This eliminates unnecessary transport and reduces downtime compared to traditional laboratory-based calibration.
Automatic Control and Stable Operation
Calibration is performed using a highly accurate and stable pressure controller that generates and controls the reference pressure.
The controller prevents over- and undershooting and ensures that each calibration point is reached and stabilised before comparison. The calibration sequence is executed automatically in the correct order, avoiding time-consuming restarts and reducing operator influence.
User-defined controller programs can be configured to follow the site’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supporting consistent execution across calibrations.
Cleaning and Materials
The Pressure Calibration Rig is built using stainless steel materials suitable for industrial and pharmaceutical environments.
All relevant components are designed to allow cleaning according to industry practice. The rig is manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel, with optional AISI 316, supporting use in clean and controlled environments.
Minimal Maintenance
Maintenance requirements are limited and focused on reliability.
The rig requires yearly inspection of critical components, such as the vacuum pump, and annual calibration of the control module. This ensures long-term stability and reliable operation without extensive maintenance efforts.
